Patrick Morelle

Patrick Morelle is the chairman of the NAFEMS Multibody Dynamics Working Group and the creator of the courses related to this domain. Having started his career as an Assistant Professor at the University of Liège (Belgium) and then as a full Professor and Head of Department at Pole Universitaire Leonard de Vinci (France), he has a background as a teacher and researcher in Finite Element method as well as in Multibody Simulation. During his 40-year career in the industry, he took part in the development of the SAMCEF Finite Element code, ending up as part of the Siemens Simcenter Product Development and, finally, Marketing teams. His long experience working with many customers in different types of industries allows him to introduce in his courses very practical aspects related to Multibody simulation as part of the industrial design and simulation process.
