Shaping the Future of Simulation - The Next Phase of ASSESS

ASSESS - A NAFEMS Initiative

Thursday, 24 April 2025

07:00 (Los Angeles) | 10:00 (New York)
15:00 (London) | 16:00 (Berlin)

Founded in 2015, ASSESS was established as an independent think tank to shape the future of engineering simulation by bringing together thought leaders, visionaries, and experts from industry, academia, and government. Its mission is to maximize the business value of engineering simulation. Through its strategic insight theme papers, ASSESS has guided the industry toward more effective simulation practices, laying a solid foundation for the future.

The next phase of the initiative was launched at the recent Summit in Atlanta, GA, marking ASSESS’s evolution and building on the strong foundation established over the past decade.

Essentially, this is the beginning of ASSESS 2.0. Looking ahead, the next 10 years present an exciting opportunity to accelerate the business impact of engineering simulation. While organic growth will continue as more executives recognize its value in innovation and product development, this new era of ASSESS is focused on driving real transformation.

By embracing advancements in AI/ML, Digital Twins, GPUs, Cloud platforms, Quantum computing and new software licensing and usage models, ASSESS aims to push engineering simulation far beyond its current trajectory, ensuring its role as a strategic driver and thinktank of innovation and business success.

This webinar will give attendees an exclusive insight into plans for the next phase of ASSESS, whilst also looking back at the strong foundations that have already been created by the initiative.
