Please submit a short abstract by latest 20 June to roger.oswald@nafems.org
Manufacturing Simulation covers a multitude of processes, materials, techniques, and methods. Almost every engineered object in use in industry or in our homes has undergone a transforming process taking it from a raw material to a finished product.
These processes change the shape and, in many cases, the properties of the raw material to make the desired item. Successful processes must create the end product to the required quality, without flaws or defects, in an efficient manner, with minimal environmental impact.
In order for processes to become successful, they must be predicted along with the key parameters, which introduces inevitable variation during the full time-span of the production.
With this seminar we will focus on the development and use of virtual modelling of manufacturing processes within the product design to improve robust outcomes in industrial manufacturing processes. This includes new approaches like AI/ML.
In addition to listening to presentations covering those challenging fields, there will be an optional tour of the Novo Nordisk production high volume device manufacturing facility.
The conference will be hosted at The Novo Nordisk Conference Center, Favrholm
We look very much forward to your short abstract submission, which you please send by latest 20 June 2025 to roger.oswald@nafems.org.
