One again thank you very much for submitting an abstract for the NAFEMS NORDIC Regional Conference for Engineering Simulation and Analysis. We are very pleased about the high quality of the submitted proposals for presentations.

We now kindly ask you to register your attendance.

Please note that speakers affiliated with companies engaged in the production/processing of material goods/goods in factories/plants will be automatically registered by us.

Please send following documents by latest 29 April 2024 at the latest to info@nafems.de:

Extended Abstract
Please send us following documents for the preparation of the conference proceedings.

• Either an english-language extended abstract of typically 2-6 pages as word and pdf in the specified layout ((template download below).

OR

• One pdf file which includes a 1-2 page abstract in the specified layout (template download below) followed by your presentation slides (two slides per A4 page).

Short biographie / CV
Short description of your professional career and your current position/responsibility (template “NAFEMS_CV_e.docx”). Just a few key words please. The session chair will briefly introduce you at the beginning of your presentation.

You are welcome to use the attached template ("NAFEMS-PPT-template.pptx") for your presentation.

Presentation on-site
For the presentation on-site you can use your own laptop (HDMI!!) or bring a ppt file on a USB stick and upload it to the existing presentation laptop. Please test the technology in the room during the breaks or at least 30 minutes before the start of your session to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

After the conference
After the conference, we will make your Powerpoint presentation (pdf) online available for the conference participants at our Resource Center. However, we will delete all lectures from the laptops etc. for security reasons. Therefore, please send a version (ppt or pdf) of your presentation that has been released for publication to info@nafems.de immediately after the conference.
