Simulation Data Structuring - A Key Success Factor on your SPDM Journey

The expansion of simulation as part of the product development and validation process has increased the amount of simulation data being stored. This has created the need to appropriately match the simulation data with the input data that produced it. Each iteration loop evolves the product's definition, bringing it closer to the desired result and, ultimately, helping bring the product to market in a shorter timeframe. This overview of how the simulation results evolve over time is an important asset and reduces the risk of regression in product performance.

While large organizations can afford advanced SPDM solutions, these can be expensive to customize and deploy due to the diversity of inputs, simulation tools, outputs and business processes that need to be considered. This presentation will show use cases from our experience developing simulation management solutions for our clients in the aerospace, communications, and automotive sectors, from both business and IT implementation perspectives. We will share what we believe are the best practices for mid-size organizations.
