Mike Adams, FREng, FIChemE, FRSC is Professor of Product Engineering and Manufacturing in the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham (UoB).
He is the recipient of the Donald Julius Groen Prize for outstanding achievements in interfacial engineering and the Tribology Trust Silver Medal for outstanding and sustained achievements in tribology. He has published over 230 papers and 5 edited books including a special issue on ‘Theoretical and Computational Methods in Tribology’. His interest include process engineering, the applications of in-line sensors, particle technology, tribology, sensory perception and modelling.
He is a graduate of the Royal Society of Chemistry and holds a PhD in Molecular Acoustics from the University of Essex.
